Ignoring a notice can mean that we carry out repairs on your behalf, often referred to as ‘works in default’.

This is a process set out within the Housing Act 2004 (and other pieces of legislation).

It means if you don’t carry out the required repair works, we can carry them out on your behalf and charge you for them.
