How we aim to enforce

When we need to enforce the protection of tenant health and safety - and improve housing standards - we will do so within the regulatory framework laid out within The Regulators Code.

For example, this may include:

  • Encouraging good and lawful practice from everyone involved – landlords, property managers and tenants
  • Ensuring it doesn’t pay to ignore the law
  • Providing fair regulation across the sector
