GET INVOLVED - Landlords, MHCLG needs you!

Beta testing for the new "Register your rental property" database

The Register your rental property (formerly known as the PRS Database) team is inviting landlords to take part in a private beta phase to help shape the future of the Register your rental property service.

We are looking for:

·         joint landlords

·         overseas landlords – those that reside outside the UK but have properties in England

·         organisational landlords – such as companies, trusts or charities

·         individual landlords

·         landlords using letting agents solely to manage their properties

·         landlords requiring alternative ways to register (offline route)

If you fit into one of the above categories, we would be keen to hear from you.

During the private beta phase, volunteers will be asked to register on the service and provide feedback on their experience. Please be assured that the service will not be implemented until later in the year, and any information entered during the private beta phase will be deleted shortly afterwards. The purpose of this phase is purely to test usability and ensure the system works well for landlords when it is later fully launched.

Testing started on 20 May and will continue to take place in stages over the coming months, until further notice. If you register your interest and do not hear from us immediately, please do not worry as your details will be recorded and we will contact you when the next testing phase begins.
