Safe Suffolk Renters held their third annual conference for private sector landlords, letting agents and property managers who rent property in East and West Suffolk in October 2025.
This free event was packed with information about the Renters’ Rights Bill, the proposed new EPC regulations, and the ongoing issues of damp and mould. The event featured guidance and insights from a range of speakers covering “Making Tax Digital”, mortgage advice, finance, legislation updates, and practical ideas to help landlords and letting agents engage with tenants and more.
Our keynote speaker was Suzanne Smith, founder of The Independent Landlord website and YouTube channel. The conference included a panel discussion and engaging workshops where attendees put their questions to the experts.

Suzanne is the founder of The Independent Landlord, a website and YouTube channel providing reliable, free resources for landlords, letting agents and property businesses.
