Trusted Trader is run by Suffolk County Council Trading Standards in partnership with Trusted Directory Services. It’s a local business initiative helping Suffolk residents find reliable local traders. In turn, trusted businesses benefit from increased visibility, market share, and new opportunities. Members are promoted to local residents with marketing support and materials.

Trusted Trader is the only trader scheme in Suffolk officially backed by Trading Standards. All members are fully vetted, background checked, and continually monitored through customer feedback and reviews, giving consumers peace of mind when choosing a trusted, reputable business to carry out their work.
